Lillian Fashion Model Paper Doll

LVK Paper Dolls

Regular price $12.00

This paper doll is based on Lillian Knowles, a woman who modeled in New York during the 1960s and eventually became a teacher. The blue and green gowns and gray dress with the feathers are based on the dresses she wore in the 1960s. Lillian was a beautiful, caring, intelligent, and remarkable woman. The late Gus Edwards, her husband and a New York artist part of the African Jazz-Art Society and Studios, sketched her face around 1964 and I drew the body and clothes.
Lillian stands approximately 8 1/2" tall and comes with 11 dresses based on 1960s fashion spanning from the early 1960s to the late 1960s. The doll also has an attached stand and an envelope to place her and her clothes. The uncut paper doll and clothes are printed on white card stock and bound in a 10 page book.
